I have extensive experience with over thirty years in the practice of periodontics in the Los Angeles area. My goal is to provide excellence in care enhancing the overall dental health, esthetics and function. I strive to provide the highest standard of treatment through proper diagnosis, comprehensive treatment planning and the completion of the necessary care, follow up and monitoring.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree at the California State University, Northridge. Following this, I earned my dental degree at the prestigious University of Southern California. I completed both a general residency and my periodontal surgical residency at the VA Medical Centers both in Los Angeles and Wisconsin. Since 1991 I have had the honor to serve patients from the Los Angeles and other areas while in practice in the same location. This has allowed me to deliver consistency and ongoing comprehensive care to thousands of patients over the years I have been in practice.

I am an extremely experienced periodontist and dental surgical specialist with extensive training and expertise. I completed rigorous three-year post-doctoral residency programs through the Veterans Administration Medical Centers. My training included extensive education and practical experience in a wide range of treatment modalities including surgery and non-surgical treatment to address periodontal disease and related dental problems. I have organized and run countless continuing education programs and lectured and taught extensively. The goal of periodontics is to limit the loss of the bone support of the teeth thereby helping to maintain the teeth and dentition. A secondary, and equally important goal is to restore the dentition to function once teeth have been lost. My expertise covers a wide variety of treatment modalities. This includes gum surgery to improve the retention of teeth affected by periodontal disease, the treatment of gum recession, the enhancement of smile aesthetics through surgical
procedures, tooth extractions, bone grafting, sinus lift procedures and the placement of dental implants.
